The Studio

The Al and Mike Show studio is pretty much as close as you can get to a real production studio without actually being a production studio.

For one day a week, a small living room in downtown Toronto is converted into a tangle of audio wiring, network wiring, mixing systems, microphone stands, etc.

It's actually really cool. We get to kick back and enjoy the comforts of home, while doing an internet broadcast.

Here's a picture of how it all looks. (Click on the picture to see a bigger version)

Episode 2: Bob Tarantino, Stephen Taylor and More!

This was a guest oriented show. We talked with Bob Tarantino about election speculation, the political climate, his book, and a myriad of things for our first two segments. In our third segment, we speak with Stephen Taylor and his ordeal on the hill.

We have promised to offer each segment as three individual files. Those will be up briefly, so bear with us. Right now, here is the entire show. We will also have an alternate, low bandwidth stream up very soon.

Don't mind Mike being a little bit inactive in the podcast, as he's the one running the whole thing. As Mike gets the hang of running the production more fluidly, he'll return to his more animated self.

Index of the Show:
  • 0:00 - 30:00 : Bob Tarantino, Election Speculation, Blogging
  • 30:00 - 60:00 : Bob Tarantino, Liberal Strategy
  • 60:00 - 1:30:00 : Stephen Taylor and his experience with Elizabeth Thompson in the Parliamentary Press Gallery, and is a blogger a journalist?
